About
Pocket Verdict started as a group chat where four friends kept arguing about which games were actually fun and which ones just had good trailers. Eventually we got tired of typing the same opinions and turned it into a site.
We cover everything: puzzles you solve on the bus, deep RPGs that eat a weekend, tight little arcade runners, and strategy games that make you think three moves ahead. If it runs on a phone and it's interesting, we'll play it.
How we pick games is simple. Someone on the team gets curious, installs it, and plays until they have a real opinion — usually several days, not fifteen minutes. We don't chase only the biggest titles; some of our favorite reviews are about small games barely anyone mentions.
Every review here comes from actual playtime. If we didn't like something, we say so and explain why. That's the whole point.
Lukas Bergmann — Lukas has been playing mobile games since the days of tiny screens and worse controls, and he still can't put his phone down. He handles most of the RPG and strategy coverage.
