The Hollow Lantern

The Hollow Lantern is a quiet, atmospheric adventure that trades combat for exploration and puzzle-solving. You wander an abandoned coastal lighthouse, tapping to examine objects, piecing together what happened to the people who lived there. The mood is fantastic — rain on glass, creaking wood, a soundtrack that knows when to go silent.

Puzzles are environmental and logical rather than arbitrary. Everything you need is somewhere in the world, and the game trusts you to notice details. I got genuinely stuck twice, and both times the solution felt fair once I found it.

It's short — maybe four hours — but it's the kind of experience that sticks with you afterward.
